Graveside services for Patricia Chance, 43, of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M, Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at Old East Mountain Cemetery in Upshur County with Billy Foote officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Chance passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012, in Tyler. She was born on August 9, 1969, in Galveston, Texas to Marrion Victor Whitaker and Cecil Onita Hitt Whitaker. Patricia lived in Gilmer for 17 years and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Billy Wood of Gilmer; mother, Onita Whitaker of Katy, Texas; sons, Richard Chance and Jake Chance; daughters, Heather Whitaker and Victoria Chance; sisters, Janet Hulen and Dana Fulce; 3 grandchildren, Jessalyn, Seth and Michelle. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home
