Patricia Anne "Patti" Hoover

Memorial services for Patricia Anne "Patti" Hoover, 65, of Hawkins will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Holly Tree Chapel in the Holly Lake Ranch Community with Dr. Tim Mink officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Patti passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 in a Tyler hospital. Patti was born February 15, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Homer R. and Anne T. Pyne Quaintance. Patti was hired as the church secretary in 1997 at Holly Tree Chapel where shortly thereafter she became an active member. She loved singing in the choir, assisting with church musicals while at the same time actively participating with the drama team at the Mineola Playhouse. With her love of theater Patti was instrumental in the establishment of the Holly Lake Ranch Community Theatre in 2009. In 2007 she became a member of the Stephen Ministers faithfully serving her church members with great compassion. While recovering from an acute illness she began teaching a weekly bible study at a Nursing Home in Winnsboro. Her love for music, dance and drama was only exceeded by her love for the Lord, Jesus Christ who she faithfully served. She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Hoover; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Joanne Corkery, Scott and Donna Corkery, Christopher and Amanda Corkery, Mark and Janice Corkery, Sean and Sandie Corkery and Jeffrey and Ashley Zucosky; daughter, Tammie Corkery; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin and Maria Quaintance, Robert and Barbara Quaintance and David and Sally Quaintance; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two aunts, Irma Quaintance and Jayne Pyne; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and grandchild, Brandi Nicole Corkery. No formal visitation is scheduled. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations can be made in Patti"s name to Holly Tree Chapel, 1620 FM 2869, Holly Lake Ranch, TX 75765.
