Pat Twilla

Funeral services for Mrs. Pat Twilla, 70, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Reverend David Mayhan officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Cemetery in Upshur County.

Mrs. Twilla was born on August 5, 1946 in Jackson County, Arkansas to Elmous Ross Mayhan and Cecil Mae Stanley Mayhan and she passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in Tyler. She was the owner of Pat’s Angel Land daycare in Gilmer and a member of Woodland Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Twilla is survived by her loving husband, Jim Twilla; sons, Kevin Jones and Johnny Goode; brothers, David Mayhan, Stanley Mayhan and Danny Joe Mayhan; grandchildren, Russell Goode, Douglas Goode and J.R. Goode and great grandchildren, Arianna Goode, Richard Goode, Johnny Goode and Aiden Lee Noble.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmous and Cecil Mae Mayhan.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
