Opal Mae Henry

Services for Mrs. Opal Henry, 96, of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M, Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Larry W. Osborne officiating and burial to follow at Enon Cemetery. Mrs. Henry was born on April 25, 1915, in Upshur County, Texas to Henry Earl Tuel and Lula Tennie McPeek Tuel and passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012, in Gilmer. On May 13, 1932, she married James Irvin Henry in Rosewood, Texas. Mrs. Henry was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Gilmer. She is survived by her sons, Jim Henry, Joe Henry and daughter, Donna Baber all of Gilmer; 6 grandchildren; Jana Baber, Kevin Baber, Jamie Baber, Jena Wayt, Jeff Henry and Chris Henry; 4 great grandchildren, Alix Nicole Henry, Kristen Henry, J. D. Wayt and Anna Wayt. Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by her husband, James Irvin Henry on April 5, 1988. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
