Olivia Mercede Rodriguez

Olivia Mercede Rodriguez, 34, of Carrollton, formerly of Gladewater, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Celebration of Life services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. The family will receive friends following the services. There will also be a Rosary and Mass held at St Theresa Catholic Church in Gladewater at 5:00 p.m on Friday.

Olivia was born January 23, 1984 in Longview, Texas to Joe Guadalupe and Maryann Cathy Rodriguez. She was a 2002 graduate of Gladewater H.S. and went on to earn a Merchandising Degree at the University of Texas in 2006. Olivia had worked in the jewelry industry since her graduation. She enjoyed riding bikes, traveling and music. Olivia loved her family, and especially cherished her nieces and nephews. She always strived to make sure everyone around her was happy. She will be truly missed by the loving family and friends that survive her.

She is survived by her husband Gregory Paul Spanko; parents Joe and Maryann Rodriguez; two brothers Victor Rodriguez and Anthony Rodriguez; three sisters Eva Mollindo, Monica Swearingen, and Angelica Starkey; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be sent to RAINN.
