Olan "Tater" Deion Johnson

Funeral services for Olan "Tater" Deion Johnson, 39, of Gilmer will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Gilgal Missionary Baptist Church in Gilmer with Reverends Stevie Jeffery, Jesse Jones, David Venter, Tommy McGee and J. Richard officiating. Interment will follow at Community Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Olan "Tater" Deion Johnson was born to Odell Moore and Sula Johnson Smith in Gladewater, Texas, August 31, 1975. He attended Gilmer School District and worked as a brick mason with his Dad. Olan will truly be missed by his family, friends, and the staff at Gilmer nursing and Rehab. He leaves to cherish his memories, Father, Odell Moore, Mother, Sula Johnson Smith, Step-Father, Sam Smith Brothers, Olan "OJ" Johnson (Rochell), Jules Johnson (Kandas), Tykunclo "Boo" Stephenson. Sisters, Tanisha Johnson Loftin, Vitula Johnson, Lisa Moore Jeffery, Sonja Moore, and Kimberly Moore Mayfield; other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A very special thanks to the staff at Gilmer Nursing and Rehab, Heartsway Hospice and everyone who provided tender loving care throughout the years on Olan "Tater". The family will receive friends at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer on Thursday, July 16, 2015, 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
