Obie Earl Tutt

Obie ( Buster ) Earl Tutt of Lone Star, Texas passed away early Monday, August 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Obie was born December 23, 1954 in Taft, California to Obie L. and Ruby May Tutt. Obie was preceded in death by his mother, father, 3 brothers, one sister, and one grandson.

Obie and his family moved to Texas during his childhood in the Cedar Creek area of North East Texas. Obie worked in multiple areas of the work field as a mechanic for Lone Star Steel, was an ironworker, welder, and numerous other positions. Obie was affected by a stroke in 2005 in which he then became disabled. Obie dedicated his life to his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ in his final years, and the family now has the comfort that they will see him again one day.

Obie is survived by his wife Janice Tutt of Ore City, children, son Obie Earl Tutt II of Palestine, son and daughter in law Clinton and Michelle Tutt of Ore City, son and daughter in law Eric and Tiffani Tutt of Ore City. 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
