Norma Leigh Hamilton

Services for Norma Leigh Hamilton, 89, of Gladewater, will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2010, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, with the Rev. Bailey Harris and the Rev. Aubrey Pate officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery just outside Dekalb with Bro. Bailey Harris officiating. Born January 19, 1921, in Spring Hill, Texas, she died on Friday, October 22, 2010. She was a retired teacher at the Union Grove Independent School District and a longtime member of the Delta Kappa Gamma. She was an active member of the Gladewater First Baptist Church. She is survived by her brother, Barton Hamilton of Spring Hill, Texas; sister, Sara Joyce Gunn of Gilmer; and numerous nieces and nephews. If so desired, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1444, Gladewater, Texas, 75647. The will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., today, October 24, 2010, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. She will long be remembered for her spiritual gifts of giving to her family and friends.
