Nona Clark

GILMER "Funeral Services of Mrs. Nona Clark, 79, of West Mountain, will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 6, 2015 at Gilmer Church of Christ with Clint Owens, John Richard Spencer and John Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow at West Mountain Cemetery in Upshur County under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Clark passed away peacefully at her home on Monday February 2, 2015. She was born July 5, 1935, in Omaha, Texas to Robert and Ora Smith Cason. Mrs. Clark worked 38 years as the Administrative Assistant and HR Director for Etex Telephone Co-Op before retiring. She was a member of the Gilmer church of Christ, where she served faithfully in many areas, including being a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Clark enjoyed bridge club, was on the Upshur County Appraisal Board, also served as Secretary/Treasurer of the West Mountain Cemetery Association and was a Pink Lady for ETMC in Gilmer. Mrs. Clark is survived by one daughter, Leean and her husband Jeff Williams of Rockwall and granddaughter, Juliana Williams. Also, a niece Darla and husband Bo Ragland of Naples; 4 nephews: Wayne and his wife, Debbie Cason of Houston; Joe Mike and his wife, Sandi Cason of Omaha; Loyd Davlin of Bryans Mill; and Bobby and his wife Becky of Las Vegas, Nevada. She had a number of great nieces and nephews. Her family and friends were held very dear to her heart, as she treasured each relationship. Nona was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Wayne Clark in February 4, 2012; her parents, Robert and Ora Cason, her sister Patsy Cason Davlin and her brother, Toby Cason. Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Deer Run, 1227 CR 4590, Winnsboro, Texas 75494. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00P.M. at the funeral home.
