Noah James Harris

Noah James Harris was born in Minden, LA on June 10, 2004 and passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2023. He was the son of      Jessica Winfrey and James Wesley Harris, Jr. and was a caring brother to six siblings.

He was a gentle soul that brought joy to those around him. Noah had just graduated high school on May 4th and was enlisted to serve in the National Guard. Noah wished nothing but peace for everyone around him; and we hope that he may continue to bring peace  wherever he is.

Noah is survived by his mother and stepfather Jessica Campuzano Winfrey and Micah Winfrey; siblings Melody Ann Carter             Esperanza, Chiquita Carter, Selena Guajardo, Autumn Forever Winfrey-Campuzano, Jeshua Matthew Winfrey; a multitude of    extended Campuzano family  members; his father James Wesley Harris, Jr.; and a   multitude of extended Harris family members.

He is preceded in death by his sister Victoria “Birdy” Guajardo; aunt Alma Campuzano; and friend Rodney Wayne Brown, Jr; as well as other extended family     members.

A private memorial service will held at Kelsey Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas on Monday, June 12, 2023 with Kevin Ward          dedicating the grave.

Noah, to us he was Buba Noah. He was a kind soul with a servants heart. He was gentle and attentive, especially with children, and  welcoming of all people. He never spoke down on anyone, nor did he hold hate in his heart. His quirky humor was appreciated by   everyone, he loved making people laugh. He had one of the most memorable laughs, the sound could break the most serious moment. Noah didn’t take himself too seriously, he was very confident and was able to laugh at himself. Noah did believe that being a good  person was a must, and that everyone should strive to be kind. So while we gather here to remember a boy who used to say looloops, libinloom, and psketti, may he find the peace and solace in death that he strived for in life. Let’s hope that he has found his big sister, Birdy, and are able to exist together until we meet them again
