Life celebration services for Adrian Niko Fookes, 18, of White Oak will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Restoration Fellowship Church in Longview under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater with Pastor Tommy Jackson officiating. Niko passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 in White Oak. Niko was born June 12, 1997 in Kilgore to James Montague Fookes and Kristine Michele Hays. He was a 2015 graduate of White Oak High School and was attending Kilgore College. Niko excelled at playing the flute and was a member of the White Oak H.S. Band for seven years. He was also very active in the White Oak Theatre Department and the Kilgore College Theatre Department. His theatre friends were very special to him. Niko was a Roughneck and loved his High School and the faculty especially Jenny Ross for her caring guidance. He enjoyed online gaming and hanging with his friends and spending time with his family. Niko was a gentle caring soul who touched many lives and was also impacted by so many as well. Niko is now in the arms of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his mother Michele Sullivan; two fathers Jim Fookes and Terry Sullivan; two brothers Cade Sullivan and Cameron Fookes; grandparents DeWayne and Terri "PaPa and NiNi" Gray; grandparents, Susie and Mark Smith and Debbie Sullivan; great grandmothers Patricia Rector and Nan Dickerson; ; uncle, Josh Hays; aunt, Meg Wolf; special friends Alex Evans, Keelin Munoz, Cody Downing, Drew Frazier, Destiny Hill and Hailey Vestal as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family and friends. They would also like to extend a very loving thank you to every single family member; we could not do this without your love and support. The family will receive friends Saturday following services at the church
