Services for Mrs. Neva Lou Steele Tillery 75, of the Brumley Community, Upshur County will be held 10:00 A.M, Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Kenneth Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow at Simpsonville Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas. Mrs. Tillery passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2010 in Gilmer. She was born on August 24, 1934, in Upshur County, to Homer and Bernice Guinn Steele. Mrs. Tillery was the District Manager for Southwestern Bell and for AT&T until her retirement. She was a member of the Brumley Baptist Church. Mrs. Tillery is survived by her husband, Tom Tillery of Brumley Community; son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Susan Tillery of Humble; daughters and son-in-law, Sheila and Sig Fragstein of Orange, Sandy Everett of Dallas; sisters, Gwyn Little of Greenville, Peggy Hoover of Houston; six grandchildren, Neva Everett, Jessica Brown, Chloe Fragstein, Savannah Tillery, Madison Tillery, Ethan Tillery; one great grandchild, Samiah Brown. Pallbearers will be James Duncan, Tommie Taylor, Bo Tucker, Bobby Helpenstill, Jim Edwards and Steve Kaufman. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 17, 2010 at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Texas Baptist Home P.O.
