Nell Anderson

Memorial services for Nell Anderson, 82, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 17, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Chad Lee and Bro. Michael Manis officiating.

Mrs. Anderson passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 and was born on September 27, 1934 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to RC Allen and Lillian Martin Allen. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and painting. Mrs. Anderson loved attending Pine Acres Missionary Baptist Church in Gilmer where she was a member for many years.

She is survived by her son, Garry Phillips of Gilmer; daughters, Marie Black and her husband Larry of Gilmer and Marjonna Kelly; brothers, Royce Allen and his wife Barbara of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren, Fancha Cox, Shannon Minnick, Sterling Blake Baldwin, Trevlyn Phillips, King Ross Phillips, Brayden McCullough, Briston McCullough, Alesha McCullough and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling James Anderson; parents, RC and Lillian Allen and her brother, Danny Allen.

No formal visitation will be held.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
