Neil Ivan Harper

Mr. Neil Ivan Harper, 79, of Gladewater, Texas passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at home in Gladewater.

Neil was born August 22, 1938 to the late William Oscar Harmon Harper and Birdie Jewell Eddins in Wood County, Texas. Neil served honorably in the US Navy as US Naval Intelligence and spoke five languages. He loved crossword puzzles and watching horse racing but most of all he loved being around his family and friends.

Mr. Harper is survived by his brother James Harper, numerous nieces and nephews as well as many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and two brothers.
