Naomi Lee Ragsdale Singleton

Naomi Lee Ragsdale Singleton of Ore City, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on her 88th Birthday July 31, 2013. Her funeral will be held Saturday 2:00 P.M., August 3, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church with Reverend Tony Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Grice Cemetery in Upshur County. She was born on July 31, 1925, in Electra, Texas, to Leonard Lee Mantooth and Daisy Belle Browning Mantooth. On March 15, 1998, she married Drury Lee Singleton. Mrs. Singleton worked in retail sales for many years and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Drury Singleton of Ore City; daughters, Wanda Lee Prock and her husband, Jerry Steve of Mesquite, Donna Gipson and husband, Michael of Gilmer; eight grandchildren, Anna Hays and husband, Neil of Gilmer, Connie Pumphrey and husband, Scott of Daingerfield, Jerry Lee Foley and wife Tammy of Kirkland, TX, Chelsea Cowley of Longview , Adam Prock of Dallas, Johnnie Prock and Wife, Dana of Royce City, TX; fifteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Mrs. Singelton was preceded in death by her son Lee Patterson, Jr., daughters, Brenda Richardson and Yvonne Ragsdale. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 2, 2013, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home
