Myrtle Ramsey

Services for Mrs. Myrtle Ramsey, 90, of Gladewater will be held 10:00 A.M, Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Larry W. Osborne officiating and burial to follow Gladewater Memorial Park. Mrs. Ramsey passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 in Gladewater. She was born on August 11, 1920, in Campti, Louisiana to Charlie and Mary Lee Johnson Hoob. Mrs. Ramsey was a homemaker and a member of the Abundant Life Temple. Mrs. Ramsey was survived by her son, Charlie Ramsey; daughters, Jerri Brown, Peggy McClendon and her husband, Larry McClendon; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert A. Ramsey; sons, Kenneth (Heck) Ramsey and Jimmy A. Ramsey. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 9, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
