Myrtle Jones

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Jones, 82, of White Oak will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Bro. Marion Coon officiating, interment will follow at New White Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until service time Saturday. Mrs. Jones passed away Monday, September 14, 2020, in White Oak one day before her 83rd Birthday.

Mrs. Jones was born September 15, 1937 to the late Audrey Jamar and Elender Redwine Jamar in Comanche, Texas. On May 6, 1953 she married C. Dale Jones and they spent 60 years together before his passing in 2013. Myrtle was retired after many years working as a seamstress. She was a faithful member of the Open Range Cowboy Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Mrs. Jones will not soon be forgotten by all those she leaves behind.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter Lisa Woloschek and husband Joseph; son Roger Jones; two sisters Mary Sharpe and Linda Guthrie; three grandchildren Kimberly Woloschek, Stephen Woloschek and Brandon Woloschek; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, C. Dale Jones; three sisters Nelda Weisen, Jeannie Henry and Doris (Dimples) Lewis and two brothers Elvin Jamar and Hewell Jamar.
