Cremation arrangements for Musie Juanita Haywood, 83, of Gilmer are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Haywood passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Gladewater.

Mrs. Haywood was born September 14, 1934 in Logansport, LA to the late James and Tommie Thomas Smith. She lived most of her life in Gilmer where she was a bank teller at First National Bank for many years. Mrs. Haywood was also of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter; Liz Casebolt Reed and husband Jim of Gilmer, sister; Corine Bryant of Longview; grandchildren; Brad Casebolt and wife Christin, Cindy Schmidt, Steven Schmidt and wife Jaci, great grandchildren; Makala Schmidt, Jake Schmidt, Ashley Schmidt, Conner Schmidt, Brandon Schmidt, Lanie Casebolt, Hannah Schoop, and son-in-law; Jim Schmidt.

Mrs. Haywood is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Chuck Haywood, daughter; Susan, and brother; Tommy Smith.
