Miriam Amanda "Tot" Jones

GILMER- Services for Miriam "Tot" Jones, 86, will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel in Gilmer, Texas. Following the church services interment will be at the Kelsey Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Jones passed away with her loving family by her side on Friday, August 12, 2011 in Tyler. Mrs. Miriam Jones was born August 25, 1924 in Kelsey, Texas to Kirby E. Dailey and Bethany F. Head. She is survived by her six children Virginia Watson of Ferris, Texas; Mary Hellen Craven (late John Craven) of Gilmer, Texas; Timmy and Luann Watson, of Elkhart, Kansas; Linda and Ken Bushman of Highland, Utah; Terry and Nanette Watson of Roy, Utah; Wally and Stacie Jones of San Angelo, Texas; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Evelyn Ellison, Ruth Freeman, and Pat Williams She was preceded in death by her parents Kirby E. Dailey and Bethany F. Head; one brother, Cecil Dailey, four sisters, Elvis Earp, Aviodeen Dailey, Maurine Martin and Annie Fay Pritchett, her first husband, Tommie (Tom) Watson and her second husband, Wallace Raymond Jones. Visitation will be at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday August 16, 2011 at the Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home (1100 N Wood, Gilmer, TX)
