Minnie Codell Bass

Minnie Codell Bass, age 91, returned to be with her Savior on November 17, 2024. She was born on January 10. 1933 in Tyler, TX and was raised by parents, Zelma and Walter Price.

Codell took great joy in tending to her vibrant flowers, she found immense pleasure in watching her flowers flourish throughout the seasons.

Codell is survived by her children; Billy Harold Bass, Jr. and his wife, Barbara, Zelma "Sissy" Bass and her husband, Larry Pittman and Mary Ledbetter and her husband, Randall; her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, as well as her extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Harold Bass, Sr, sons, David Clifton Bass, Sr. and John Anthony Bass, as well as her parents and all her siblings.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Bass will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Perryville United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Interment will follow the services in the Perryville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Methodist Children's Home.
