Mildred Evelyn Albright

Mrs. Mildred Evelyn Albright, age 90, of Gilmer passed away peacefully, under hospice care, on Friday, July 3, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. Mildred was born in Upshur County on May 3, 1930 to the late Ernest Clyde Davis and Janie Overstreet Davis. She married the late William Earl Albright on January 14, 1946, he preceded her in death on January 19, 2010. She was a devoted homemaker, and attended the Gilmer Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed arranging flowers, jelly-making, sewing, cooking, and enjoying her time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Norman Albright and wife Emma Lee of Gilmer, Billy Wayne Albright and wife Janet of Gilmer; three daughters, Janie Gunn and husband David of Hughes Springs, Judy Perez and husband Benny of Longview, Vonda Jenkins of Gilmer; sister, Patsy McGrew of Gilmer; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, eighteen great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Chapel at Kelsey Cemetery, Bro. Jeff Bethard, and Lonnie Yates officiating. Interment will be at Kelsey Cemetery in Upshur County. Services under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer, 305 W. Harrison St. Gilmer, TX 75644.
