Graveside services for Michael Wayne Allen, 29, of Gilmer, will be 12:00 noon, Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Norvell officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Allen passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011, in a Gilmer nursing home. Mr. Allen was born January 22, 1982, in Gilmer, Texas to Amy Rebecca Allen. He had lived in Gilmer most of his life. He is survived by his mother, Amy Allen of Zebulon, NC; dad, Chuck Smith of Pritchett; brother, Chris Allen of Pritchett; grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Allen of Big Sandy and Ocie and Patricia Pritchett of Warner, Ok.; aunts and spouses, Cindy and Paul Brittain of Zebulon, NC and Janie and Lloyd Tucker of Perrin, Tx; cousins, Randy, Zack and Kelli Tucker of Perrin, Tx and Lisa Whitlock of NC and Krystal Brittain of NC. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2011.
