Celebration of life services for Michael David Pynes, 59, of Round Mountain, TX will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, TX with Bro. Andrew McQueen officiating. Mike passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014. Born May 6, 1954 in Gilmer, TX to Marian Blasingame Pynes and the late E. P. Pynes. Grandson of the Wayne and Lucille Blasingame of Bettie, who preceded him in death. Survivors include his Partner Virginia Huggins of Round Mountain; mother, Marian Davis of Montgomery; brothers and wives, Anthony and Helen Pynes of Round Rock and Ronald and Karen Pynes of Mt Vernon; aunts, Connie Alexander of Gilmer and Cathy Diver of Longview; Uncle, George Blasingame of Longview; nieces, Abilgale Pynes of Austin and Samantha McQueen of Winnsboro; Nephews, Anthony Pynes of Round Rock and Ronald Pynes of Mt Vernon; several cousins and Mike's good friends Cinnamon, Sage and Scott. Mike will be greatly missed but never forgotten. We will hold his memory close until the day comes when we are together again.
