Michael Charles Howell

A memorial service for Michael “Mike” Charles Howell, 65, of Longview is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Trails End Cowboy Church in Harrison County, with Shawn Rhodes officiating. The family will receive family and friends on Friday, January 14, 2022, 6-8 PM, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. He passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 in Longview.

Mike was born on August 7, 1956 in Longview, Texas to Willie Charles and Joyce Nell Howell. He married Logan Gough on June 5, 1976 in Kilgore, and worked at Texas Eastman in maintenance and security for many years. Mike was an outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing, but was also a family man and loved spending time with his grandchildren and family members.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Logan JoNell Howell, daughter and son-in-law: Kimberly and Joey Landreneaux, grandchildren: Jesse Howell, Kaleb Landreneaux and Madelynn Landreneaux, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Joel “Butch” Howell and sister, Teresa Gay Howell.
