Michael Allen "Mike" Guthmann

Celebration of Life services for Michael Allen “Mike” Guthmann, 67, of Gilmer will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Clarksville City Baptist Church in Gladewater with Bro. Roger Gage officiating. Mr. Guthmann passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018, in Gladewater.

Mr. Guthmann was born December 9, 1950 in Denver, Colorado to the late John Carl Guthmann and Audrey Maurice Wood Guthmann. He worked for Timco in Gladewater as a fitter/welder. Mike enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was a devoted family man, hardworking, honest and willing to help anyone in need. Mike will be truly missed by all the family and friends he leaves behind.

Mike is survived by his wife of 48 years Deborah Darlene Guthmann; son Michael Shane Guthmann; daughter Patricia Darlene Fogle and husband Barry; brother John Edward Guthmann and wife Jennifer; two grandchildren Corey Shane Fogle and wife Jerri and Cason Reid Fogle; great granddaughter Avery Jane Fogle as well as many other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Douglas Clark Guthmann.
