M.C. "June" Lemons

Graveside service for M.C. “June” Lemons, 92, of Harleton will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at the Lemons Family Cemetery in Harleton. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. M.C. passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020 in Longview.

M.C. was born January 29, 1928 in Holdenville. Oklahoma to Clarence and Gertie Lemons. M.C. was a veteran of World War II having served in the Navy. He was a member of the Mason Lodge in Boyd, Texas and worked in the fire protection industry.

M.C. is survived by his daughter, Belinda Moran, sons and law, Kenny and Tommy, five of his six grandchildren; Kenneth Moran Jr., Chad Lemons, Cheyanne Scudday, Brandy Carrington, and Tina McClelland, many great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren. Also there are several whom he chose to include as grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by son, Rusell Craig Lemons in 2003, daughter, Charlott McClelland in 2013 and granddaughter, Jeannie Moran and the love of his life Alta in 2014.
