Maxine Taylor

Maxine Taylor, formerly known as Maxine Billingsley, passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 88 in Jackson, MS. Born on January 26, 1936, in Minden, TX to Grandville "Buck" and Ruby Billingsley.

Maxine's life was filled with passion and creativity. She had a deep love for singing, which brought joy to all who knew her. Her home was often adorned with beautiful orchids that she nurtured with great care. Alongside her love for plants, Maxine was known for her affection for her cats, whom she cherished dearly.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Jay Taylor; sister, Janice Adams; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Billingsley and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tommy Joe Taylor; brothers, William Billingsley and Mitchell Billingsley; sister, Cynthia Evans Richardson.
