Marylin Franklin Richey

Funeral service for Mrs. Marylin Franklin Richey, 71, of Gilmer will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jason Stapelton officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Interment will be held at Mattox Cemetery following the service. Mrs. Richey passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Longview, TX.

Mrs. Richey was born November 4, 1947 in Cleveland, TX to the late Boyd and Bernice (Seagrove) Franklin. She was a proud housewife and was a member of Graceton Church of Christ. Marylin had a genuine love for her church and her family, she will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Greg Doyle and his wife, Kimberly of North Carolina, Brad Richey of Galveston; daughters, Babette Henson and Wanda Riche’y both of Gilmer; brothers, Jacky Franklin and his wife, Debra, Brad Franklin and his wife, Pam; sisters, Glenda Shelton, Beverly Franklin; and grandchildren, Daniel Hanson, Joseph Doyle, Megan Doyle, Devinne Henson, Ryan Henson, Josh Doyle, Jacob Doyle, Cynthia Dominguez, Rebecca Henson, and Melissa Dominguez.

Marylin is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim D. Richey; brothers, Johnny and Jerry Franklin; sister; Cynthia Mead; son, Chris Doyle; daughter-in-law, Beverly Riche’y, sister-in-law, Kathy Franklin; and brother-in-law, Tinker Shelton.
