Mary Neva Stafford

Graveside service for Mary Neva Stafford, 82, of Hawkins will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 9, 2015, in the Hawkins Cemetery in Hawkins with Bro. Joe White officiating. Interment will be in Hawkins Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mrs. Stafford passed Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at her residence. Mrs. Stafford was born June 7, 1932, in Irving, Texas to Owen and Mattie Moore Rucker. She retired from the American Airlines Flight Academy, had lived in the Hawkins area for over 40 years and was a member of the Holly Brook Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Weldon Ray Stafford and wife, Linda of Hawkins; daughter, Cindy Kay Doyle and husband, Rick of Hawkins; three grandchildren, Monica, Jaclyn and Jason; five great-grandchildren, Tristin, Christina, Lilly, Bella and Neva Clara. Mrs. Stafford was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell R. Stafford and son, Monte G. Stafford. No formal visitation is scheduled. Family request that memorials be made to the Little Mound Baptist Church " Walk of Faith Fund, 11746 FM 49, Gilmer, Texas 75644.
