Mary Loverne Wright

DIANA: Graveside services for Mary Loverne Wright, 94, of Harleton will be at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Harrison County, with Reverend Mike Brittain and Roger Perkins officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. She passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at her residence.

Loverne was born November 20, 1922 in Halls, Tennessee to Joseph and Lorraine Kerns. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Alton Runie and Carolyn Wright, daughters and sons-in-law: Darline and Jimmy Dowdle, Rose and Roger Smith and Mary Wright Gulliams, sister: Delia Cochran, grandchildren: Michelle Warner, Louis Smith, Shane Hamlin, Scott Hollowell, Johnny Dye, Deana McDowell, Regina Wright, Mindy Shirley, Mike Wright and Kim Hattaway, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alton Wright, sons: Bobby, Earl and Ferrell Wright, grandchildren: Susie Wright and Melissa Brittain.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. at Eagle Creek Cemetery prior to the service.
