Graveside services for Mary Louise Pendleton, 86, of Hawkins will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Hawkins Cemetery in Hawkins. Interment will be in the Hawkins Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mrs. Pendleton went to be with her Lord Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler. Mrs. Pendleton was born September 22, 1926 in Ft. Worth, TX, to Burnice and Vivian McCarley Bellah. She was a medical secretary with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the pianist at Riverside Evangelistic Temple for over thirty years before retiring and moving to Hawkins. In addition to her musical talents was her immense talent with arts and crafts. Much of her work is included in many homes of the special people in her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hawkins. Her love of life and family will always be remembered. She is survived by her daughter, Rene Brown of Hawkins; grandchildren and spouses, Eric Brown, Chad and Nicole Brown and Tyra and Dwayne Dodson; step-grandchildren, Brian Lynn, Curtis Lynn and Leslie Bautista; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Pendleton is preceded in death by her husband Francis Pendleton, her parents, Burnice and Vivian Bellah; son-in-law, Jim Brown; and step-daughter, Lois Lynn. Visitation will from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of East Texas and First Baptist Church Hawkins Youth.
