Mary Lorean Pharr

GILMER- Funeral Services for Mary Lorean Pharr, 75, of Big Sandy will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer. Interment will follow at Hoover Cemetery in Upshur County. Mrs. Pharr passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 in Longview. She was born on January 31, 1940 in Mead, Oklahoma to Thomas Jefferson and Martha Lorene Pruett Pierce. She married James Turner Pharr in 1979, in Longview, was a self-employed beautician, and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, James Turner Pharr; son, Charles Pharr and wife Becky; daughter, Louan Warton; daughter in law, Dawn Crone, all of Big Sandy; siblings, Tommie Jean and Bill Crone of Pittsburg, Nelda Faye Roundtree of Newville, Alabama; Donna Gail and Barry Carter of Tyler, Jerry Lynn and Charlotte Pierce of Durant, Oklahoma, Terry Glenn and Rhonda Pierce of Mead, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and fifteen nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pharr was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Jefferson and Martha Lorene Pruett Pierce; sons, Leslie Shawn Crone and James Thomas Pharr; siblings, Neoma Sue Pierce, Florence Ruth Burnett, and Linda Kay Hill. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
