Mary Jo Steele Thompson

GILMER – Graveside service for Mary Jo Steele Thompson, 79, of Haltom City (formerly of Gilmer) will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 27 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Thompson passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 in Haltom City.

Mrs. Thompson was born August 31, 1938 in Gilmer to Asa Franklin and Margaret Melissa Loftis Steele. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by daughter, Susan Walker and husband, David; companion, Albert Waldrip; grandchildren, Abbey Pearson and husband, Preston and Colton Walker and wife, Katie.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents, Asa and Margaret Steele; and nine siblings.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
