Martha Delaine Duckworth

Funeral services for Martha Delaine Duckworth, 73, of Gladewater will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Interment will follow services at Gladewater Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Duckworth passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021, in Longview.

Martha was born December 1, 1947 in Gladewater to the late Charles Edward Buchanan and Alice Harris Buchanan. She was a Class of 1966 graduate of Gladewater High School. Martha was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Gladewater. Martha married James Clinton Duckworth on September 4, 1976 and they spent enjoyed 44 years together. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Martha will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by her husband James Duckworth; daughter Delaina Davidson of Gladewater; two sons Clinton Duckworth of Bellingham, WA and Benjamin Duckworth and wife Erearlette of Woodville; brother Chris Buchanan and wife Anita; four grandchildren Whittney Garcia and husband Preston, Zander Duckworth, Zane Duckworth and Zaida Duckworth; great grandchild Jansen Garcia as well as many other loving family and friends.
