Mark Wayne Adkins

Funeral services for Mark Wayne Adkins, 59, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Wayne McKay officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas. He passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016 in a Longview hospital.

Mr. Adkins and was born on January 5, 1957 in Longview, Texas to Charles Adkins and Elizabeth Holmes Adkins. He was an operator for Chevron Gas Company and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Adkins is survived by his son, Garrett Adkins and his wife, Lacey of Gilmer; daughter, Taryn Sallee and husband, John of Gilmer; sister, April Parker and husband, Charles of Longview, and grandchildren, Brayden Clinton, Tyleigh Sallee and Jace Sallee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elizabeth Adkins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 26, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas.
