Mark Wesley Trull

Mark Wesley Trull, 63, of Gilmer, Texas passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023.  Mark was born in Longview, Texas to R. V. and Judy Trull on December 18, 1959.

Mark was always described as someone who never met a stranger.  He made friends everywhere he went.  He was born into a musical family and learned to play guitar and sing.  He enjoyed music and singing at church.  Besides music, Mark was a star athlete.  He was the quarterback for New Diana High School where he graduated with the class of 1978.  His athletic talents earned him a scholarship to Lamar University.  The same drive he had in football also brought success in the field of retail management, especially with Walmart.  From his outgoing friendly personality, talent with music and his athletic abilities it wasn’t hard to see why everyone loved Mark. He touched so many lives that all who knew him will treasure the memories he left behind.

Mark is survived by his son, Cortland Trull and spouse Tiffany; daughter Megan Gaebe and spouse Matthew; best friend and love, Melinda Vincent; brothers, Ron Trull, Mike Trull, and Randel Trull and spouse Sheila; sister Marcia Holt and spouse Kenny; grandchildren, Olivia Gaebe and Madeleine Gaebe.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents R. V. Trull Jr. and Judy Leggett Trull.

A memorial service will be held Friday July 21, 2023 in the chapel at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana, Texas at 10 o’clock in the morning.
