Mark Joseph Hall

Mark Joseph Hall passed away on December 31, 2024, in Gilmer, Texas. He was born on November 13, 1957, in Longview, Texas to Eugene and Peggy (Knight) Hall.

Mark has been a member of First Baptist Church in Gilmer for several years. He worked in auto sales for many years before retiring. Mark enjoyed many pastimes, particularly fishing and hunting, which brought him joy and relaxation. His greatest pleasure, however, came from spending time with his grandbabies, whom he cherished deeply.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Dana; daughter, Laura Hembree and husband Jerad, their children, Henry, Harrison and Hesston all of Greenfield, MO; brothers, Steven Hall of Gilmer, Darwin Hall of Gilmer and Reid Hall of Tyler; sister, Julie Goughnour of Gilmer; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Hall.

Mark's memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at The Heritage Center (Kelsey Cemetery) in Gilmer, Texas. The service will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mike Kessler and Mr. Todd Tefteller officiating.
