Marilyn Pool

Mrs. Marilyn Sanders Pool, 73 of Winnsboro, Texas passed away on Monday, August 05, 2013, in Tyler. She was born on September 19, 1940, in Georgia to Leo Harold Sanders and Mabel Smith Sanders. Mrs. Pool was a homemaker and a member of Rosewood Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, George Pool and his wife, Emily of Winnsboro, Grady Sikes of Foley, Alabama; daughters, Patricia Bowen and Sara Sikes both of Georgia; brother, James Lee Sanders of Georgia; sisters, Helen Davis of Georgia, Evalena Joles of West Tawakoni, Carolyn Taylor of Alba and Delores Hamilton of California; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Mrs. Pool was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Pool, son, John Thomas Sikes and daughter, Mary Sikes. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
