Marilyn Jordan Gorman

Marilyn Jordan Gorman, 95, of Gilmer passed away on October 28, 2024, in Longview. She was born May 3, 1929, in Gilmer to Benjamin and Mabel (Palmer) Jordan.

Marilyn was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Gilmer and a member of the Garden Club which she enjoyed participating in. Working in her yard was her passion, you could usually see her there enjoying her beautiful handwork, her flowers, beautiful roses, and azaleas.

She is survived by two children, Diana Lynn Gorman and Terry Lane Gorman; 2 grandchildren, Charles Wesley Gorman and wife Renae and Julie Michelle Gorman; great granddaughter, Amalie Francis Gorman.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Gorman, Jr. and parents.

We will miss her but know she is celebrating her heavenly life joined with all those who preceded her.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home.
