Marietta Rector

Funeral services for Marietta Rector, 60, of White Oak, will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Interment will follow services at New White Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley funeral Home. Mrs. Rector passed away at her residence in White Oak on Friday, June 28, 2019.

Marietta was born July 7, 1958 in Baytown, Texas to the late Walter Leon Hambrick and Etta Dean Barnhill Hambrick. Marietta worked in several occupations but her main occupation was in fire restoration. She enjoyed shopping, watching soap operas and games of chance. But above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and was always involved in her grandchildren’s activities. Marietta will not soon be forgotten by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.

Marietta is survived by her husband Kevin Rector; daughters Dasha Caldwell and Tarrah Gajewsky; sisters Theresa Musick and Lorenda Meadows; grandchildren Dalton Daniels, Makenna Caldwell, Adam Caldwell and Reyson Gajewsky, as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son Jeromy Rector who passed away in 2014.
