Funeral services for Margie Cornelius Cline, 80, a former longtime resident of Plainview, will be held at 2:00 P.M. March 2, 2013 at Croley funeral home in Gilmer, TX. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the service begins. Ms. Cline passed away February 26, 2013 in Tyler. Margie was born on February 2, 1933, in Avery, Texas, to Eugene Moore and Bertha Baldwin Cornelius. Following graduation from Plainview High School she attended Watson's Business College and worked for over 30 years in the banking industry including Hale County State Bank, City National Bank and Plainview Savings and Loan. She later became a licensed real estate agent in Houston. After retirement she worked part time as an S.T.E.P. employee for the Upshur County Sheriff's Dept. and then became the area supervisor for the Senior Texas Employment Program covering several counties in East Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Sharlyn Cline Martin of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law Nanette and Darrell Holley of Costa Rica; son, Charles B. "Trey" Cline III of Forney; daughter, Jana Cline of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; Melissa Cline Butler of Lindale; brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Maurine Cornelius of Plainview; sister Sue Kiely of Tyler , 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and numerous loving nieces and nephews including special nephew Don Whitmer of Longview She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. And Mrs. E.M. Cornelius; brother J.W. Cornelius; sisters, Eugenia Willmon and Biff G.Hogan. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to East Texas Hospice 4111 University Blvd, Tyler, Texas 75701
