Funeral service for Ms. Margaret Yordy, 63, of Gladewater will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 22, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Roy McWhorter officiating. Interment will be in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements are under the direction Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Ms. Yordy passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 in a Longview hospital. Ms. Yordy was born October 20, 1951 in Holly Springs, Mississippi, to David Floyd and Juanita McWhorter. She was employed with Songbird as a Med-Aid, has lived in Gladewater for the past two years and was a member of the Jehovah Witness faith. She is survived by her sons, Brian Yordy of Gilmer, Timmy Yordy and wife, Debbie of Whitehouse and Chris Yordy and wife, Crystal of Gilmer; daughter, Vanessa Reagan of Gladewater; 11 siblings, Melvin Haley, John Haley, Clarence Haley, Susie Haley, Kay Pearson, Bobby Teasler, Tommy McWhorter, David McWhorter, Sam McWhorter, J.J. Dunn and Barbara Bingham; eight grandchildren. Ms. Yordy was preceded in death by her parents, David Floyd and Juanita McWhorter. Pallbearers will be Kevin Pearson, Aaron McWhorter, Rance Yordy, Parker McWhorter, Dexter Yordy and Austin McWhorter. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
