Margaret Sharon Green

Funeral services for Margaret Sharon Green, 80, of Winona, will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Interment will follow services at Barber Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Margaret passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019, in Tyler.


Margaret was born January 30, 1939 in Houston, Texas to the Eugene Jones and Isabelle Dodson Jones. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. Margaret loved children and worked 16 years at a daycare. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, watching television, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. Margaret especially cherished her dogs and always made sure they were taken care of. She will be truly missed by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.

Margaret is survived by two sons Robert Burleyson and wife Yvonne and Timothy Wayne Green and wife Patricia; her three daughters Gay Lynn McIntyre and husband Randall, Kay Nan Peden and husband Chuck and Deborah Ann Grimm and husband James; twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews as well as many other loving family and friends.


She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Isabelle Jones and her husband Leroy Green.
