Margaret P. Lutz

Funeral service for Margaret P. Lutz 89 of Gilmer will be held Monday, December 18, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Laster officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Mrs. Lutz passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Lutz was born July 30, 1928 in Schenectady, NY to the late Walter James Peek and Marcia Ann Richardson Peek. Margaret was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and retired as a reporter for the News Media Paper. Margaret is also of the Methodist faith.

Margaret is survived by a son, Richard Peek, of Houston, TX; Daughter, Roberta Jones and Son in Law Rick Jones, of Gilmer, TX; Stepdaughters, Carol Moore and her husband Michael Moore, of Bakersfield, CA, and Sharon Brandom, of Bakersfield, CA; Stepsons, Larry Lutz, and his wife Kathy Lutz, of Shafter, CA, and Randy Lutz, of Bakersfield, CA; 17 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Lutz, her grandson Richard Peek, Jr, and her Great Granddaughter Lilly Lutz.

Pallbearers will be: Russell Jones, Roger Jones, Johnny Latham, Stephen Dunn,
Caleb Smith and Nicholas Smith.
