Margaret Elizabeth Bables

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Bables,83 of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Life Tabernacle Church in Gilmer with Bishop D. B. Kitchell, Pastor Bryant Kitchell and Chaplain Keith Hague of Legacy Hospice officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Upshur County under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Bables was born on July 13, 1930, in Valdosta, Georgia, to Robert and Bulla May McFadden Houston. She was worked in retail sales and was a member of Life Tabernacle Church. Mrs. Bables is survived by her daughter, Deborah; grandson, Moses; brother, Leon Strarhn of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Alfreda Tribue of Orlando, Florida and niece, Pamela Austin of Orlando, Florida. She was preceded in death by her, parents and spouse, Harry "Marvin" Bables. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 1:00 until service time at the church.
