Services for Margaret Ann Cruz, 61, of San Antonio will be Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Reverend Mack Swain officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Cruz passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in San Antonio. Margaret was born July 14, 1955 in Knox City, Texas to William Wesley Foster and Bobbie Lee Smith. Mrs. Cruz worked in several capacities of law enforcement before retiring. She was a member of the New Testament Holiness Church in Grand Saline. Margaret was an avid sports fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys. She was a gun enthusiast, enjoyed traveling as well as arts and crafts. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Margaret will be truly missed by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind. She is survived by her husband Jose Cruz; three daughters Brandi Swain, Shannon Cruz and Jessica Cruz; mother Bobbie Foster; five granddaughters Miranda, Kennedi, Gabby, Victoria and Emily; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins along with many other loving family and friends.
