Mamie Alice Abshire

DIANA: Services for Mamie Alice Hubbard Abshire, 73, of Diana will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Diana, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will follow at Walnut Creek Cemetery. She passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Longview.

Mamie was born September 11, 1944 in Beckville, Texas to Homer Ray Hubbard and Lovie Martin. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Mamie is survived by her husband: Wilbern Abshire, daughters and sons-in-law: Debra and Doyle Foster and Trenese and Danny Sugg, sons and daughters-in-law: Bubba and Patty King and Terry and Kim King, step-sons and spouses: Chuck and Ann Abshire, Phillip and Donnie Abshire and Michael and April Abshire, step-daughter and spouse: Kim and Terry Shaver, grandchildren: Shawnna Brutchin, Brittany Phillips, Courtney Phillips, Michael Phillips, Zachary King, B.J. Abshire, Arial Abshire, Thomas Abshire, Justin Shaver, Harlie Shaver, Kimmy Abshire, Abby Abshire, Caleb Abshire, Nathan Abshire and Brandon Abshire, and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Melissa King, and brothers: Lee Roy and Troy Hubbard.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at 1:00 P.M at Walnut Creek Baptist Church prior to the service.
