Mable Martin

Funeral services for Mrs. Mable Martin, 93, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P. M. Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Reverends Mark Huffhines and Wayne McKay officiating. Interment will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Martin passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014. She was born on July 19, 1920 in Eastarolle, Ga. to Arthur Jackson and Lula Bailey Farrow. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and a member of Glade Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Sue Martin, Lonnie and Marty Martin; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannette and Wayne McKay; Carol and Dave Hill; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William C. "Jack" Martin in 1982; son, Gene Martin; daughter, Melba Martin and all of her siblings. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
