M. Margie Venn Howard

Funeral services for M. Margie Venn Howard, 82, of Longview will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2011 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bishop Lance Seahorn conducting. Interment will follow in Enoch Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. Howard passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 in a Longview nursing home. Mrs. Howard was born March 25, 1929 in Gilmer to William Jobe "Bill" and Hermie Pritchett Venn. She was a retired beautician, owner of Margie"s Beauty Shop in Gilmer, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Joe and Janie Howard of Longview and Terry and Jeannine Howard of Gilmer; grandchildren and spouses: Jenna Gray and Justin, David Howard and Megan, Kim Dodd and Nathan, Niki Fincher and Cliff, Brent Langford and Stephanie, Heath Langford and Judy, and Chance Langford and Sarah; great-grandchildren: Justyn, Tayllor, Jarrett, Brooklynn, Glenna, Avery, Dalton, Kennedie, Kylee, Camden, Chandler, Anna Cate, Kamrynn, Lilly, Emily, Ryan, Trevor, Addison, and Avery. Mrs. Howard is preceded in death by her husband: J.H. Howard; daughter and son-in-law: Charlotte and Gary Langford; grandson: Gary Trent Langford. Pallbearers will be Brent Langford, Heath Langford, Chance Langford, David Howard, Justin Gray, Nathan Dodd, and Cliff Fincher. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
