Lyman Edwin Rosenbalm

Services for Mr. Lyman Edwin Rosenbalm, 84, of White Oak will be held 10:00 A.M, Monday, April 2, 2012, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Reverend Ray Evers and Reverend David M. Ash officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Mr. Rosenbalm was born on January 14, 1928, in Josephine, Texas to William Fletcher Rosenbalm and Edna Pearl "Myre" White Rosenbalm and passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012 in White Oak, Texas. On May 21, 1945, he married Rosa Evers and was a dedicated and loving husband to his wife of almost 67 years. Mr. Rosenbalm was a loving caring father to his three children and his grandchildren were a joy to him. He was a man of many talents and professions, but he retired from Rosenbalm Builders which he owned for 8 years. Mr. Rosenbalm had a lot of family and friends that he loved to spend quality time with. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Rosenbalm of White Oak; son, D. R. Rosenbalm of Branson, MO.; daughters, Sheila Stoller of Gilmer, Shirley Herron and husband, Ted of Gladewater; brother Bobby Rosenbalm of Josephine, Texas; sister, Dorothy DeForest of Garland, Texas; grandchildren, Sonya Murray and husband, Wayne Murray of Gilmer; Edwin Rosenbalm and wife, Tina of Gilmer; Rod Latham and wife, Lori of Pritchett; Tony Rosenbalm and wife, Jackie of Arkansas; great grandchildren, Cody Rosenbalm, Courtney Rosenbalm, Brittney Rosenbalm and Chelsi Rosenbalm. Mr. Rosenbalm was preceded in death by his parents, brother, William Layfayette Rosenbalm and sister, Robbie Pearl Rosenbalm Williams. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
